It depends on the nature of the case. The complexity of the case. How crowded the court docket is. The date the case will actually be filed. It’s not established as a specific parameter of time.

In very general terms, between a year and a year and a half — up to two years is typical. Cases can be settled quicker depending upon the information that’s available. The responsiveness of the insurance company or the nursing home to the claim has a great deal to do with it. But I think in general terms about a year is a pretty predictable time limit.
