All cases are different. Even brain injury cases can be different. But a case should not be settled or resolved or ended until the lawyer and the client know the permanent outcome of the case.

We wouldn’t want to settle or resolve a brain injury case (or any case) until we know the consequences. What is the client going to have to live with? We don’t want to settle a case in six months and then find out after the case is settled that the client is going to have more problems than we thought.

So, it’s very important to be patient. To get good medical records. Good evidence and information from treating doctors to know the extent of the brain injury. Whether or not the client’s going to get better or not. How it’s going to affect their ability to work and function before a case is settled.
