In Florida the fees can be provided on what is called a contingent basis. That is, dependent on the outcome of the case. Lawyers who specialize in this kind of work do not charge for evaluating the case, for working on the case. They only receive compensation if the patient (client) receives compensation. And that is a percentage of the amount that’s recovered finally, for the patient (client).
