What if I did not leave the scene of my Florida car accident in an ambulance? Can I go to the hospital on my own the next day?

Ambulance?

Under Florida law, you can go to the hospital from a motor vehicle accident and have your car insurance pay for it within 14 days of the accident. You don’t have to seek immediate medical attention. In other words, leaving by ambulance isn’t a requirement to be considered significantly injured.

I have a lot of clients who don’t go by an ambulance because they have their children left in the car, or they’ve got pets in the car, or they think the ambulance ride is going to be too expensive. That has nothing to do with whether you’re hurt or injured in that car accident.
