Will I have to pay anything out of pocket in my Florida personal injury case?

Contingency Fee

You shouldn’t have to pay anything out of pocket. Lawyers charge a contingency fee in these cases. They don’t earn a fee unless they’re successful.

At the end of the case, if the lawyer is successful in compensating you in a manner that’s fair to you, only then does a lawyer charge a percentage of the recovery and only then does the lawyer recover costs. The costs are typically advanced by the lawyer and not recovered by the lawyer unless he or she is successful. You shouldn’t have to advance any costs in a personal injury case.
