What will it cost?

Wrongful death cases are like injury cases in Florida when it comes to paying the lawyer. Lawyers charge a contingency fee. That is a fee that’s dependent on the recovery. Unless there is a successful recovery in the case, you don’t have to pay your lawyer in a wrongful death case or other cases. Lawyers charge a percentage of the recovery at the end of the case. Sometimes lawyers will have to spend money to pursue the case. We call those things “costs.” You don’t have to reimburse the lawyer for any of those advanced cost in the case unless you’re successful.
